This is a contract to hire position in Brooklyn Park, MN. SUMMARY Assembles machines, equipment, printers, printheads, printer systems and their subassemblies according to customer’s needs, following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications. Plans assembly procedures, following specifications and using knowledge gained by experience. Use of hand files or portable grinders, to clean parts or to produce close fit between parts. Drills, taps or reams holes, using portable drill. Aligns components, and bolts or screws using hand tools or portable powered tools. Installs moving parts, for example shafts, levers, or bearings, and works them to test free movement. May also align and mesh gears and belts for free flowing systems. May also test or assist in testing operation of completed product. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assemble machines including printers, printheads, printer subassemblies, sealers, tunnels and subassemblies for taping machines. Hardware/Firmware Engineer - Brooklyn Park, MN

Senior Firmware/Hardware Engineer Responsible for leading the FPGA firmware and hardware design activities including conceptualization, development, design for manufacturability, validation and transition to manufacturing. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead research, design and development of FPGA, firmware, and hardware to create new printing and marking products. Research design options and perform tests or experiments to determine potential design feasibility Generate CAD tool based design schematics. Provide thorough simulation of all designs. Responsible for the oversight of the required board layout activities. Utilize strong debug skills to effectively resolve board level and system level problems Identify the suite of tests required to validate each new design at the board and system levels. Must be able to work effectively as a member within development teams. Assist in the creation of Product Requirements, Design Specifications, and Validation Test Requirements documents. Deliver technical conceptualization efforts and vision for future product development. Provide part obsolescence design activities as required. Requirements: Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 10 years related experience.
